8:15pm : so late for bed on a Friday night
I was plaiting someone’s hair . I think a lot of people assume that a “tomboy” doesn’t like “girly” things, so they don’t bother to even ask or try. Last week a young lady who many consider to be a tomboy said how much she loved the curls in my hair. Now even though I suspected she liked things that most don’t associate with tomboys, I never got into it because – not my child. But last week, I offered to plait her hair in such a way so that it can be curled. Why? Because she had also said she didn’t think her hair would curl like that. Told her that I was positive that it would. Tonight I had to take out one of the curlers to fix it, it was already starting to hold the curl after only five minutes. By tomorrow? It’s gonna be awesome.
Thank you Yahweh, for all that you’ve done. For the gifts you’ve given that can be used in so many ways. Thank you for everything.
What am I thankful for today?
- A planner order to work on!
- Plaiting someone’s hair.
- Being still in Yahweh’s presence.
- Yahweh’s time is ordained even when others think that you’ve “wasted” the time Yahweh gave.
