Do not be distracted by work. Yahweh, thank you for this new day. For your amazing love. For waking me up in sound mind. Thank you for being good.
What am I committing to sow into our marriage?
- Love – in word, in action.
- Peace – it’s not about me as an individual being right, but us a part of a partnership working together – winning together.
- Kindness
- Patience
- Meekness/gentleness
- Faithfulness
- Joy
- Self-control
- Goodness
So funny thing that should have been glaringly obvious, “You reap what you sow.” In order to harvest the fruit of the spirit, we have to plant the fruits of the spirit. We have to actually do these things in order to become these things and to have it shown to us.
Yahweh. I lift up Candace before you. We all have callings according to your purpose, but no matter our personality, it must be tempered by you. Yahweh. I pray that she will be tempered by you. That it’s not just trusting you, but also living for you. Transform her into the image that you desire of her. Let her words be unto you. Let her thoughts be yours. And to sow your seeds. This is my prayer in your name. Amen.
