  1. Does my imagination bring Yahweh glory?
  2. Does it produce fruits of the Spirit?

I am attempting to finish the “Faith vs Fantasy” sermon before bed. It’s after ten and I just paused it. These questions (two out of four) are being asked. How do you know if it’s faith-fueled imagination or fantasy? And as I considered what Yahweh is asking me to do right now, I asked the question: would this bring glory to Yahweh or myself? And I’ve got to be honest. What I’m being asked to do can potentially ruin me and mess up the situation for others. There is definitely no glory for me, but there is a testimony. And I’m holding on to that. There will be a testimony of Yahweh’s faithfulness in the end.

Does it produce fruit of the Spirit? Straight face. Yes. No chaser. I’ve had to humble myself to say, I don’t have the money. I’ve had to exercise patience not to call the banks to rectify these errors (though that still wouldn’t solve the major problem). Yahweh said it is to prove my faithfulness to him and I am learning to have peace during this hurricane. And at the end of the day of this I know, I know that Yahweh gets the glory. And I also desire that I remain humble no matter how much he uses me. Keep me in your will.

  1. If it’s birth in deception, it’s fantasy.
  2. If it’s selfish, it’s fantasy (if it’s only about me).
  3. Faith doesn’t work for fantasies.

Yahweh does not bless who we pretend to be. He blesses who you really are.

Yahweh, thank you for my sisters in you. Thank you for this community in faith. To grow closer to you. Accept our sacrifice. May it be a sweet aroma to you.
