Thank you Yahweh for waking me up, you are the reason that I’m alive, that I can move. That I can do anything that I’m able to do. Thank you for your grace and your love and all that you have done. My daily provision, strength for today. Thank you for healing. You are my light, you are my song. You are so good and I am grateful beyond words for who you are.
Today is yours. My life is yours today to do as you see best. To use my voice and my hands and feet to do your will. When I don’t know what to say, the Holy Spirit will speak on my behalf. Even when I think I know what to say, he still speaks so that others can understand. The Spirit can’t be seen, but it’s because of him all things are manifested. It’s because of him, we are encouraged and inspired and are able to do what we are called to do. He empowers us to live in this world, to do the impossible and to live lives holy and acceptable.
John 14:26 – However, the help, the Holy Spirit, whom the father will send in my name, will teach you everything. He will remind you of everything I have ever told you.
The Holy Spirit would be felt in us, in those who believe. Yes, he was there before but he was making a grand entrance again so this time people would know and recognize the difference. The Spirit was always there working; maybe they didn’t understand it was the Spirit behind them. But now that we saw and felt his presence through the fire, we know that he’s here and his ministry amongst us continues.
It’s because of the Spirit why I am able to move and be in my right mind.
1 Corinthians 6:19 – Don’t you know that your body is a temple that belongs to the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit, whom you receive from God, lives in you. You don’t belong to yourselves.
You made us, you bought us back and you live in us (with us saying yes) so that the life we live here until you return would not be one of waste. We are to treat our bodies correctly. We are to allow the Holy Spirit to live in us so that we live a life that makes Yahweh smile.
We didn’t invent the Holy Spirit, we received him from Yahweh. He is the promise who existed before the promise. He is the one that influences for good – who warms the heart, lifts the spirit and whispers (or shouts), this is the way, walk ye in it.
Holy: Set apart by (for) God, sacred, different.
Spirit: Wind, breath
It was that breath that was the final step in forming us originally and is the final step when we are reborn. You live in us and guide us.
When he said:
Acts 17:28 – For in him we live and move and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, “You are his offspring.”
Everything we can do is from the Spirit. The Spirit is the reason why we are still here. He seals us to live according to Yahweh’s will.
Ephesians 1:13 – You heard and believed the message of truth, the good news that he has saved you. In him you were sealed with the Holy Spirit. This Holy Spirit is the guarantee that we will receive our inheritance. We have this guarantee until we are set free to belong to him. God receives praise and glory for this.
He breathes into us and then seals that life in us. The Holy Spirit has so much to do in our lives. We think it’s us: the idea is us, moving is us. But that’s the Holy Spirit. Because of his movement in us, we are able to receive all Yahweh’s promises to us: the promise that leads to all other promises.
