So what do you do when you’re disappointed?
Praise Yahweh.
When you’re sad.
Praise Yahweh.
When you feel hopeless.
Praise Yahweh.
Don’t get me wrong though, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt. It means that despite the hurt, I will still praise Yahweh. Despite the sadness, I will praise him. Because the circumstances doesn’t change the fact that he is good.
He loves me.
He created this world.
He died to save me.
He rose to save me.
It doesn’t change the fact that his promises are yes.
And he desires what is best for all of us. Even though it hurts.
He knows the best time, even though to us it feels like a neverending delay. Thank you for being the God of time. Setting times and seasons into place and moving accordingly. Thank you for loving me unconditionally.
Yahweh, I lift up your daughters to you. I pray for your love to shine through them. For us to honour you. Keep us in your will. I love you.
