Zechariah 2:13 – “Everyone be silent in the presence of the Lord. He is waking up and setting out from his holy dwelling place.”

He’s not sleeping ehhh. He’s deeply involved in the movements of our lives. but this waking up is preparation for the day when the accuser would no longer be able to accuse. He created this earth by speaking. Imagine (actually don’t), what would happen when he shifts?

Zechariah 3:9 – “Look at the stone I have set in front of Joshua. That one stone has seven eyes. I am engraving an inscription on it,” declares the Lord of Armies. “I will remove this land’s sin in a single day.

One day. But why. Scratch that. I do know why it hasn’t happened as yet. it’s not the appointed time. That day is “Judgement Day” when all sin will be removed. Death would have lost.

Zechariah 4:10 – Who despised the day when little things began to happen? They will be delighted when they see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand. (These seven eyes of the Lord roam over all the earth.)”

Don’t despise small beginnings. They are beginnings and they grow from there. Little becomes much when it’s in Yahweh’s hands.

Zechariah 7:5 – “Tell all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months these past 70 years, did you really do it for me?

Serious question we need to ask ourselves. Why are we doing this? If it’s for show then salt for us. But if our hearts are right. If the reason is true humility before Yahweh, then he won’t be angry. He will accept the sacrifice.

Zechariah 9:16 – On that day the Lord their God will rescue them as the flock of his people. They will certainly sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.

We’re gonna look so awesome! In all seriousness though. I remember the statement of numerous pastors that said for every soul that we bring to Yahweh, it becomes a star in our crown. And honestly it never sat well with me, because I’m imagining one person’s crown so bright it was blinding and someone else’s crown with just one lone star. I never found anything Biblical to support that theory, but I did find where we would have crowns. I also found Ezekiel 18:4. it was the King James Version and I remember thinking at the time – there is no way there would be stars in our crowns representing souls won for Christ is all souls belong to Yahweh.

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
