Singing
I got up singing a song, but then this started playing. I think my mother is awake and can’t sleep.
Good Morning Yahweh. Thank you for a brand new day. A brand new month at the end of an old year. It’s not over even though I was singing before, “It is finished, the battle is over.” Today we walk together and talk together. Despite the sudden hecticness of the last couple days, I like that you are with me and I am grateful for your presence. I am thankful for you are all up in my bizness because it is definitely your business too.
Thank you for being such an amazing, awesome, understanding God. I am truly thankful for your understanding grace.
Hebrews 4:15-16 – We have a chief priest who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses. He was tempted in every way that we are, but he didn’t sin. So we can go confidently to the throne of God’s kindness to receive mercy and find kindness, which will help us at the right time.
I must confess. That can be the hardest part: at the right time, because most times, we don’t know what is the right time so we wait with hope, with expectation for the fulfilment of your words. We wait with the knowledge and hopefully (lol) confidence that:
- We heard you right.
- You will do what you said.
Because you are God.
You are majesty and you reign. Your word must come to pass. Your name must live up to your name. Yahweh, thank you for your amazing love. Thank you for your mercies that are new every morning. You are so beautiful and I will wait on you. Granted I don’t have twenty-two years like David, but I do know that if your promises take an additional twenty-two years, it will be because of your desire and knowledge and it will still be worth it. Worth the wait.
Thank you Yahweh for waiting on me. I’m going to wait on you. Thank you for who you are. Your provision, your guidance, your everlasting love. I love Yahweh, to you and back and I pray that today, I will trust you. I will lean unto your understanding and not my own. Yahweh, you are sooo good and I love you.
1 Peter 1:3 – Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! God has given us a new birth because of his great mercy. We have been born into a new life that has a confidence which is alive because Jesus Christ has come back to life.
Singing
Thank you for a new birth and new beginnings. This month we celebrate your birth. The birth that renewed our hope and changed the world. Yahweh, help our focus to remain focused on you. To honour you and worship you. Thank you for being our living hope.
Yahweh, what will you have me do today?
