The Only Risen King

Good Morning!! Thank you for today. For life, health, strength. Thank you for who you are and for putting things in place for me. Yahweh, I pray for my mind to be open to all that you (and only you) have for me. To learn, to understand and to walk in your will. Thank you for this family. I pray that we choose you everyday. That we choose to live in complete surrender to you. Nothing else really matters at the end of the day. 

As I step into the day, I pray for continued awareness of  what you require of me. That I will feel every nudge, see every waymark along the way. That the words that I say would be wholly acceptable to you. Yahweh, I want your light to shine so bright in me. Thank you for who you are and what you have done. 

Yahweh, I pray for this country of yours. The leaders you have set up. May they choose you. No lie, that would be so awesome. To truly live according to your will so that this country would be a beacon for you. I pray for the women of this nation. Place a hedge around them, around us. Protect us from the evil ones who seek to destroy. Keep us in your will. 

I lift “the boys” to you. I pray that they will see themselves as you see them: smart, dedicated, talented, purposeful. May they live in the purpose that you have called them to.  May they choose you and not the substances that harm their body, but maintain a veneer of respectability. It is not of you. I pray that they will choose you. 

Remember PC. I pray that his heart becomes open to you. That he chooses to honour you, that prison does not remain a regular part of his life. That he be bound to you and not to Satan. I pray that he chooses you as his father and holds on to you. Thank you for who you are. Thank you for the ways that you move. The unexpected ways that you make us smile or cry, but that was us ever closer to you. Thank you for loving us and for choosing us. You are my God and my king. I love you.

You deserve the glory.

You are the only risen king.

Psalm 57:5 – May you be honored above the heavens, O God. Let your glory extend over the whole earth.

 

Isaiah 25:1 – O Lord, you are my God. I will highly honor you; I will praise your name. You have done miraculous things. You have been completely reliable in carrying out your plans from long ago.

You, Yahweh, the only one worthy of our praise. You are my God. Thank you for being Lord of my life and for knowing what is best for me. Today I am yours to do your will, to glorify you.
