December 4, 2022
Rule #1 for the rest of December: do not watch holiday movies as a perpetually single person. It just makes a person (me) sad. The funny things is, I liked the movie, but it also reminded that I’ve never had a Christmas present or birthday present from a significant other. Yeah, I’ve pretty much always been single. But gonna look on the God side. Yahweh, knows what he’s doing: so gonna be thankful that he is in control.
Honestly, I am thankful for everything you’ve done and you’re doing. I still feel like crying though. I kinda feel a bit pathetic that as a forty-three year old woman I’ve never received a Christmas gift, birthday present or even a Valentine’s from a guy. I’ve gotten greetings and I am thankful for that. Sigh. I’m sorry. I’ll keep my hope in you. You know what is best and spending another Christmas with my parents is good. I am thankful for my parents that they are alive and well. I pray that they will keep on trusting you. That they will be healthy and strong. Amen.
TODAY’S THANKFUL TALLY
- Finished the planner for a coworker.
- Being single.
- Absolutely no more Christmas movies unless it’s like, “Rise of the Guardians.” Still an awesome movie.
- Starting working on restoring one of the books. The new cover looks awesome. Let’s pray that the final product does too!
Thank you for today. For life. For my bed. Amen.
