I am so speechless right now. I had six dollars remaining in my bank account after putting in gasoline and purchasing an item for dinner this evening. I honestly thought at the time that to purchase the item may not be worth it because to do so would leave only the six dollars. In the end, I purchased the item especially because I knew there were guests coming and it would really bring everything together. Whatever happens after that, I’ll just have to pray for a miracle.
And then the guest comes. Well one, because the other one mixed up the time. Angie, when she entered, gave me a cloth bag about the size of my hand palm. As I was about to open it, she said, not now. But I had seen a card poking out. I put everything away and we sat for dinner. After dropping Angie home, I opened up the bag. Inside the bag, there was a card with a hand drawn tree and a $100 bill (which is way more than the item for dinner cost). I’m just speechless. What?! I didn’t even get to pray properly about it yet! Of course heartfelt thanks were expressed. I was tempted to ask if she was sure, but realised that to do so would be insulting. I told her a bit of what has been going on and she was surprised. It truly also shows that we never know what someone is going through.
Yahweh, thank you for your provision. Thank you for who you are. I love you.
