I’m exactly where you need me to be. As I’m sitting here at the end of the day with the knowledge that Sunday is Christmas and there is no gratuity. Another prayer unanswered. Well answered, but the answer is no. Others did get. Some didn’t. I am disappointed and I’m reminded of what I spoke about that there are let downs. But you never fail. At this moment I am still choosing to trust you even if all the answers are no. Imma cry. But I’ll trust you. Yahweh, this is me. You know my desires, but you also know what’s best. I pray that my heart will be in tune with you. That my desires are so intertwined with yours that there is no distinction. Help me to love like you. To trust you and to live like you. Please don’t pass me over forever. Your word cannot return empty.
Yahweh, I pray for the service tomorrow. That we move in your will. That we show your love. In your name I pray. Amen.
