So. Was informed of another meeting to attend this evening. That one is in person. But until then, rest!!
And my wrist is almost back to 100% which is good.
10:20 pm
So I went to the meeting and then stayed for church service. But I was watching this show and I was genuinely bothered by the indecisiveness of the good guys. I understand that the Ten Commandments says, “Don’t Kill,” but even in the Bible there have been countless times when Yahweh himself said to destroy someone or nation completely and that’s usually when the nation is so far gone. Why do we feel it’s the “right” thing not to remove what is not right. Our flesh is supposed to die. Sin is supposed to die. Death!! Is supposed to die!! It is not merciful when we let wrong live. And in all these movies it always causes a problem later on.
I remember this illustration from when David killed Goliath. The pastor stated that we kill the giants, but we don’t kill the Philistines. So the “smaller” things pop up and cause trouble for us later on. So then we have to do what Yahweh says. “Don’t Kill,” but also we do have to kill somethings. I must admit when I was younger, it always bothered me. These were two seemingly opposing instructions. But I also believe that in today’s society, Yahweh is not asking us to physically kill anyone. But there are spirits that need to die. And if my thoughts are wrong, I stand corrected.
TODAY’S THANKFUL TALLY
- I am writing pretty much normally!! Only the tiniest pain when I touch my wrist. Thank you Jesus! Hallelujah!!
- Sleep today.
- Everything. I’m casting about to identify something specific and there is. But I also found my thoughts on – trying to be thankful that I don’t know when I’ll be hugged. That so many things seem out of the way – don’t know when it would happen and being helpless to do anything about it. But you also said to “Stand Still,” you will save. So I will give thanks for everything. Everything that you are. Everything that you’ve done. Everything that you have promised. Thank you.
