Thank you Lord for being there for me.

I just say thank you Lord for being there for me.
Seems like I was going down,
But your love came in and rescued me.
Wanna thank you Lord for being there for me.
There is no one like you Yahweh. No one. Thank you for who you are. Thank you for your unconditional love. Thank you for this time with you. Thank you for choosing me. For actually wanting to spend time with me and show me you. You are truly an awesome, wonderful, personal God. You never lie. You never go back on your word. You’ve proven time and time again that you can be trusted. Thank you for this. Thank you for being who you say you are: no hidden agendas, or plots to destabilise us or undermine us. You are who you say you are. And I am so grateful for this. I don’t even have words to express how thankful I am. Help me Yahweh to be true to who you have called me to be. To be honest: it’s a quality that is fast disappearing, but one that you value.
I pray Yahweh, that “the men” would live a life of honesty. That their yes would mean yes and their no’s, no. May they choose to answer in truth at all times. Help them to be worthy of the trust that is placed in them as the head (or to be head) of their household. Help them to walk upright in you: to look to you for guidance. To earnestly seek your face. They are your representatives on this earth, but that can only truly happen when they spend time with you: learning of you. So many of our men aren’t leading their household rightly because little to no time is spent with you: the best, most awesome example of a father that we can have.
You are the head and you direct, lead, discipline, love, hold us and teach us. And you desire that every household would have such an example (even if the house is just one person). Yahweh, you can turn a heart to you. You don’t force or trick but you somehow can turn a heart to you. I pray that “the men” all turn their hearts to you. To reflect you. You are their God and king. Thank you for the love and grace that you shown to us. You are so beautiful and I am grateful for who you are. I love you Yahweh.
(Singing) God, you’re so good. God, you’re so good. God, you’re so good. You’re so good to me. Thank you for answering prayers. Thank you for making a way through the desert. Thank you for being the God above all other gods: who sees all of us and loves all of us. And it’s amazing that our hearts are modelled so much after you even in a sinful state. There is no limit to the amount of love or the capacity of the heart to love. A heart doesn’t say, “Well, I already love this person so much that you can only get 20% love.” Our hearts like yours can love without limits, boundaries. Help us to love like you, to live like you. The flipside? Sadments, the heart also has the capacity to hate in limitless quantities. So I pray Yahweh, that any hate or unrighteous anger that is in the hearts of “the men,” that it would be wiped clean. That they would be healed and would choose to love. That they would look in compassion on others and even themselves. Because sometimes, the hate that is expressed is because of how they feel about themselves. Help “the men” to love themselves, to see themselves the way that you see them. To move in the love that you have for them. Show them who they are in you: that they are good. You made them and called them very good.
As they go through today, shield them from anything that desires to separate them from you. Anything that would come between them and you. Bind them, unbroken to you. May they choose to find their hope in you. Thank you Yahweh for your love. Your promises to us. Thank you for who you are. I love you.
Psalm 27:4 – I have asked one thing from the lord. This will I seek: to remain in the Lord’s house all the days of my life in order to gaze at the Lord’s beauty and to search for an answer in his temple.
1 John 4:7-8 – Dear friends, we must love each other because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born from God and knows God. The person who doesn’t love, doesn’t know God, because God is love.
Ephesians 4:24-26 – You were also taught to become a new person created to be like God, with a life that truly has God’s approval and is holy. So then, get rid of lies. Speak the truth to each other, because we are all members of the same body. Be angry without sinning, don’t go to bed angry.
