So this thought. It’s not an original thought, but one that is resonating with me right now.
Make Room.
We pray for so many things, but have we made room for them? Praying for a child, but is there a place for the child to sleep? Praying for the house to be built or purchased, but are the plans drawn up? Are monies saved?
You work miracles. But you also need space to work those miracles. We have to make room. Not just spiritually: time with you. But also put the steps into action so that when the miracle comes, there is room enough to receive them.
Yahweh, help me not to be so busy that I forget time with you or time with others. Thank you for being with us. Amen.
