Holidays that fall on work days are always awesome. I’m very thankful for my job. I’m also very thankful for extra rest. Yahweh, thank you for today. It’s your day that you made for us to do your will. Thank you for being the creator. We try to emulate your creativeness and you’ve blessed us with a smidge of your creative strength. But only you can create out of nothing. Only you can hang a billion stars with just one word (what word did you use?). Only you can draw the seas together and the earth together. Only you. Thank you for being the most creative God.
Luke 1:6 – Zechariah and Elizabeth had God’s approval. They followed all the Lord’s commands and regulations perfectly.
They were righteous before Yahweh. And yet. Truthfully scriptures like these gives me hope. So often I’ve heard that we don’t get certain blessings because we aren’t right with Yahweh. But in truly reading scriptures, there are too many examples where Yahweh himself withheld something, not because they were doing wrong, but because it wasn’t the right time.
Luke 1:50 (TPT) – Mercy kisses all who fear him, from one generation to the next.

Luke 1:79 (TPT) – The word from heaven will come to us with dazzling light to shine upon those who live in darkness, near death’s dark shadow. And he will illuminate the path that leads to the way of peace.
Thank you Yahweh for your light that shines on us. That makes the path clear. That clears away the darkness. Thank you for your mercy on us. Let your will be done and help us to spread your light everywhere we go. Amen.
