Good Morning Yahweh. I honestly feel so tired right now. It feels like my entire body is being weighed down. But in spite of how I feel, it is a new day and you woke me up and for that I will give thanks. I won’t take that miracle for granted at all.Â
Thank you for your promises. Yahweh, I pray that as I go about this day that my peace will remain in you. That I will keep my eyes fixed on you so that all I say would be representative of you here.Â
Remember (why do I always say remember when you don’t forget?). Probably because I tend to forget. But you are God and you have never forgotten us and you never will. Thank you for always looking after us, for always remembering us, protecting us and providing for us daily.Â
I present to you this neighbourhood. A community of so many different personalities who can come together at your call. Thank you for moving in our lives and for the fulfilment of your purpose in us (whenever that is). You are so awesome and the way that you remember everything about us is good and worthy to be praised. Hallelujah for your love and majesty. Jesus, I lift Your name on high.
Just had worship with the parents, it was a nice change.
Remember or never forget. Do they mean the same thing?Â
Remember: have in or be able to bring to one’s mind an awareness of someone/thing from the past. Do something that one has undertaken to do or that is necessary.
Remember (Biblical): To have in mind which had been in mind before and which recurs to the mind without effort. To think of and consider.Â
Yahweh has no “Oh Shucks!!” moments. He remembers all, except our sins when we seek his forgiveness. And he’s always considering us and what is best for us. But it is interesting how remember is used when assigned to Yahweh in scripture.

(There were other times remember was put there, but not part of the original text)
- Genesis 8:1 – But God remembered Noah…
- Genesis 19:29 – that God remembered Abraham…
- Genesis 30:22 – then God remembered Rachel
- Exodus 2:24 – And God remembered his covenant…
- Psalm 78:39 – then he remembered that they were but flesh…
- Psalm 106:45 – and he remembered his covenant…
Re: Again (Latin), repetition.
Member: Part of a group
(Re)member: part of a group again.Â
Yahweh, I pray for your revelation. It feels like something is missing, well elusive.Â
Being made a part of the group again. The times when “remember” is attributed to Yahweh seems to be times when the individual or group was cut off. They were not able to operate the way expected or as others were. They were apart from the rest and he pulled them back to him, back to what was right. He made things right, so that his promises will be fulfilled.Â
But it feels (I stand corrected) that it is still attributed to our state at the time. He remembered after times when the individual would have thought they were forgotten. In all those instances, the usual time to bring about the expected would have passed (except Noah and his circumstances were just unusual all over). To us, it would feel like he just brought them (us) back to his kind, but for him, he was always considering us. He re-members us. Makes us a part of him again. Considers us.Â
Yahweh, I have to say thank you. Without a doubt, unequivocally thank you. Thank you for the way you speak and the way you confirm. You are truly an awesome God!!Â
I saw a double rainbow on my way to work this morning. It stayed there until I actually got to work. The rainbow as a sign of Yahweh’s covenant and his remembrance of Noah. Thank you for remembering us. For working for our good. It’s still amazing that you desire us and work for us to your glory. You are indeed a good God and you’re worthy to be praised.Â
Now. Now. Now. Here I am planning a programme: all I knew is that I wanted to have it by a river. This morning while listening to a sermon on a seemingly unrelated topic, I started searching for mentions of rivers in the Bible. I was captivated by John 7:37 to 39 which speaks about rivers of living water and I sent it to the other person who is planning a coordinated programme. She responded that she recently read a chapter that spoke about this. Annnnndddd then in the sermon right at that point, the speaker starts talking about living water and quotes the same scripture!! When Yahweh moves. He moves!! Hallelujah!!
