7:35 pm : at my desk at home, still in my exercise clothes
I was thrown under the bus today. Granted Que was blindsided too, so I guess we all in this together. She unfortunately believes that I’m targeting her based on the statement that was made, but there were numerous complaints from other officers, even members of the public and no action was taken on it. We can’t always choose the path of least assistance. Sometimes we have to make the hard decisions. Yahweh, thank you for your protection and your guidance. It’s not going to be easy. I don’t like being labelled the bad guy but I’ll accept it in this case. I pray that the truth wins out.

You ever hear a song for the first time and are blown away by the words? This song came up in my feed –

I took note of some lines,
“In the shadow, I will be your strength.”
“Stand still and know, I am your Lord.”
But it was as they kept saying, “I am good and you are loved,” that literally made me stop. The whole song. God is good. And he loves us. He loves me. Because he is good. And honestly it’s the simplest of words, but it just touched a chord. Thank you for being good. The very representation of good. Thank you for loving me. I love you.
