There is always another side to any story.
What I heard and perceived.
What you heard and perceived.
What they heard and perceived.
And what Yahweh knows.
One of the things I’m learning to do is ask, “What does this mean to you?” or “What did you see?” Because you and I could watch the same thing and see something completely different. At the end of the day, no one wants to look bad and they would always want to see a situation from the perspective that makes them look good. Or at least better. Yahweh, I pray for your perspective in what I see. That I don’t cast judgement based on my faulty view, but that any decision would be based on your truth. Thank you for seeing all. Thank you for being God.
Misrepresentation
I know that I should no longer get disappointed when people misrepresent something, but I do. I may not necessarily have high hopes, but there is some hope that a person’s yes means yes. That the face they show is their only face (obviously not talking about private moments with friends and family) but that we would be true to who we say we are. If you’re a liar, then be a liar (okay, maybe not. Confess that as sin and change). But don’t today present as a saint, tomorrow a zealot, next day as a porcupine. Integrity is so important no matter how much we want to pretend that it isn’t. We expect that the phone would work and so exactly what it’s supposed to do. But somehow those of us who say we have sense can’t seem to do what we say we will do. Can’t seem to be the same person everyday. Yahweh, help us. We need your help. And I’m not trying to be funny or facetious, but this is causing division where there should not be.
Help us Yahweh to honour you to be true in our dealings. Thank you for who you are and I pray that we follow your example and live the way you desire us to.
Ignorance truly is bliss. I’m convinced more and more each day that there are some things I’m better off not knowing. Once you know it’s hard to forget or ignore.
