It’s later than my usual. Someone literally just asked me how come I am still up. Lol. Everyone knows me as an early to bed bird now. I’ve got to say thank you. Thank you Yahweh for being with me. For encouraging me.
“Stop trying to control the timing.”
Tell me why. Facepalm. I’m sorry, that was rude. I am thankful for the reminder that your timing is better. Your plans are better than mine. And that even though there are “deadlines” you are in control of that too. I am not outside of what you desire and your timing. Thank you for encouraging me. I will hold onto you because “I have no other choice but to trust you. That’s all I can do.” And I’m glad that I’ve made you my one and only choice. My go to, first in command. Thank you.
Today was a bit of a roller coaster emotionally. In church and watching the zoned out faces. Some folks were outright sleeping. This afternoon, while we were at the beach we chose to pray for the leaders because the youths started listing who would have pushed a lot of young adults out of the church and it’s still going on. But Yahwweh, we need to break that cycle in our church and allow Holy Spirit to overflow in our church. Yahweh, I pray that we become a community of believers who follow you in Spirit and in truth. Help us to have our oursides matching our insides. Yahweh, keep us in your will. Your timing, not mine. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
