It persists. This feeling just not going away. A friend posted an image that said, “Yet another Sunday with no long drive, no hand on a thigh and no ice cream. Smh. I can’t keep living like this.” I felt it. So I stole the status. And then watched other people steal it too. Clearly a lot of folks feeling this way included married people. So tonight I ask once more for your strength. Not the first time and it definitely won’t be the last. Keep me in your will. Help me to trust you no matter what it feels like right now. No matter what it feels like. Be my strength. My peace, my happy place.
