You are attracted to unity. Even at the Tower of Babel, you came down. It was a wrong type of unity or rather unity for the wrong purpose. But you still came down. Yahweh, I pray for our church community. It doesn’t feel that we are united. There’s a dissonance that seems to ring through but we need to be one body in you. Yahweh, build your church, your people, as one in you. Strip us of all that is not of you so that we will worship you in spirit and in truth. Thought we would honor you. That all words would be yours, holy and acceptable to you. Yahweh, heal us. Mend the cracks and the gaps that are tearing us apart and let the world see what can happen when your people are united under your banner. Touch us Yahweh, use us for your glory. Let it begin with me and spread to others. Use me Yahweh for your will. In your name. In Jesus name amen. We need you.
And sometimes, some slight weirdness happens. So I am typing up an entry for my journal where I was talking about unknown numbers calling me and then my phone rang. An unknown number. Not gonna lie, I wondered if it was the same person calling for me yet another number. It turned out it was someone from another church trying to track down someone else’s number. But I don’t give out people’s numbers without asking them for this. It’s just polite and we got people with not so nice intentions out there.
