Watch how plans get switched around. I was supposed to meet with the engineer this morning at nine, but he was called to do something urgently for work so we organised for twelve. On his way to the site visit later his vehicle starts to overheat. Now on one hand it might be simple to say that the devil is trying to block, but as I thought about it I realised that Yahweh was protecting the engineer. If we had left at the original time set, we would have been far from help when his vehicle would have started to overheat. As it was, he was close enough to his mechanic to get to him. For that I am thankful. Lol. Not everything is about me. Though of course everyone in their world thinks everything is about them.
But I also suspect that an even greater syncing is going to happen. Yahweh, your time not mine. Your will, not mine.
Sigh. Sometimes I truly understand why young people don’t always want to be around older people. I saw a senior from the village and greeted her. After she said hi, she went on to say that “Ulyuh don’t have to get up early to tote water.” It was such a random statement that I ended up asking her what she meant. Her response was, “See?! You getting to sleep late, you don’t even know what I’m talking about.” I responded by saying: don’t assume that because someone don’t have to tote water that they are sleeping late and I walked away. So often this happens and then they wonder why the young people don’t want to talk to them or be around them. I didn’t want to stay around and usually I like talking with older people. But it’s important to know the difference between disparaging a group of people and sharing wisdom. And a lot of wisdom is lost because of that. Yahweh help us. It’s a potent mix when the grey of wisdom and the strength of youth come together. But they need to come together.
