Well, the first day of vacation did not go according to vacation plans. But that’s life at times. I did watch Star Trek:TNG. But no beach. Lots of work calls though. Lol. I don’t think I’ve ever gone on vacation without work calls coming in. Have even been called into work several times too. 

Thank you for today, thank you for taking me through. Thank you for the hope for the future. Thank you for what you have done for me. Even though I did go into work, it was a quiet day and quiet days are good.

CONFESSION: I don’t know what to read. I mean what scripture to read. It’s a bit weird and I don’t think I know how to feel. Well except that maybe for today I will just take it “easy” and then randomly choose something to read tonight? 

TODAY’S THANKFUL TALLY

  1. No beach. Yep, must be some reason why that didn’t work out.
  2. Asking for help. It’s truly getting easier to ask for help.
  3. Pain (physical) from yesterday has almost gone. Pain (mental) definitely gone.
  4. 1 Chronicles 20-29

Proverbs 3:5 – Trust the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.

Just sitting here and this scripture popped into my mind. Trust. Faith. The recurring decimal of a relationship with you. Nothing happens without your plan or consent and the request to trust you is on magnify/repeat. Whatever is ahead, I will trust. I am clearly not going to understand what or rather the why. Though maybe, on my own, I won’t understand, but with you I will. Trust the Lord.
