Though in this case, wayyyyyyy past dusk. It’s after ten. I just finished baking muffins for breakfast tomorrow. Making Dad a mini-buffet and wanted to make some ginger muffins. I don’t even know why I wanted it to be ginger, but I did. My search for recipes kept saying gingerbread muffins, but I did not want that. Eventually found a recipe that looked promising for lemon-ginger muffins (no molasses thank you) and of course tweaked it as I wanted it and made passion fruit ginger muffins. They taste awesome!!
Tomorrow’s Menu:
- Porridge
- Bake
- Saltfish Buljol
- Scrambled eggs
- Fresh salad
- Chocolate Tea
- And the aforementioned muffins.
Not a difficult breakfast to make. The bake will take the longest, the rest normal. But now it’s time for bed.
Yahweh, thank you for turning things around for me. A friend said this evening that you are still turning things around for me. And that is true. Thank you for being my mentor. It’s funny the topic of mentorship came up this evening and I remembered (hadn’t forgotten ehhh, but you know what type of remembered I mean) 2 Corinthians 4:15 and your promise to be my mentor. And I am beyond grateful for that promise. Yahweh help me to also be a mentor to others. To point them to you. Thank you for being my comfort. Everyday, but especially today. Thank you for being my God. I love you. Thank you.
TODAY’S THANKFUL TALLY:
- The power of prayer. Because it is powerful to call on the name of the Lord.
- Sang the song tonight. By myself, in my room and did not cry! Well, not sad cry. Glistening happy tears.
- Passion fruit- ginger muffins. Cause they’re just awesome!
- My mentor, my comforter, my friend.
- Psalm 70-80, Luke 6-18
[…] the song. And then I came to edit the bi-weekly newsletter and saw one of the sections, “He’s turning around for me.” I didn’t even remember writing it then, but I am thankful for it […]
