Yahweh, it is only because of you that I’ve come this far. It’s only because of your goodness and mercy that I’m here today. Yahweh, thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
Philippians 3:12-14 – It’s not that I’ve already reached the goal or have already completed the course. But I run to win that which Jesus Christ has already won for me. Brothers and sisters, I can’t consider myself a winner yet. This is what I do: I don’t look back, I lengthen my stride, and I run straight toward the goal to win the prize that God’s heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus.
Yahweh, I fix my eyes on you. Where you are leading me. Yes, there are things in my past that have steered me, but while I learn from them, I will not focus on them. I will not set my mind on them. I will focus on you. This week, there is so much to do. But the most important is to rest in you. To trust you. I don’t see the end from the beginning, but I see you and I will follow you.
You are leading me and even though the path seems wonky, you are leading me and I am thankful for that. Thankful for your goodness and mercy. I pray for the grace to continue to do your will. For the strength to see past the physical. Yahweh, your will.
I lift up the household before you. I pray that we will stand firm in you. That as the weapons form they will not prosper. That we will have an answer against anyone that condemns us. Yahweh, the double-minded and false faced would be revealed. Help us to still move in your will. Help us to forgive and to honour you despite the ways others try to destroy us. They tried to destroy us, but instead you saved us. And we aren’t you, but we can emulate you. We can live for you. Let your will be done in our lives.
Yahweh, remember your church, your people. The enemy is roaming, seeking to devour. Yahweh I pray that any foothold into our lives be destroyed, that any door or window that maybe left open or unguarded, that they be revealed and shut. Protected in Jesus name.
Yahweh, help me to forgive without count. Sis. Ro. Those who seem bound on attacking. But they will not succeed and we will not hold any hatred in our hearts. Cleanse us Yahweh to live in your will. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
