Spread the love

When you have lived without something for years, you value it more when you are finally able to get it. Jesus spoke many times about the gratefulness of the one who was forgiven a great debt. It’s like that also with waiting. Someone who was healed after many years of illness would appreciate health more than someone who was always healthy. Same way with wealth. When you’ve had to pinch pennies to survive, you are thankful on the day when you no longer have to. But the main thing is to not forget. Don’t forget where Yahweh brought us from. Where he lifted us from.

By remembering then, we place a higher value on what we have now. I can’t forget what Yahweh did for me. I won’t forget what he’s doing for me. I know the plans he has are to prosper and not to harm  and while I would have/am going through the “seventy years,” he has promised to bring me through. There is nothing more valuable than that. He is the God of restoration. Thank you for your promises and your unconditional love for me. Just for me, Jesus came and did it all for me. Thank you.

Malachi 4:2 – “The Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings for you people who fear my name. You will go out and leap like calves let out of a stall.

This is what happens when we are restored. The Sun of righteousness will heal. Will dance and leap. I’ve never seen the scripture before, but was reading a book called “Land of Silence” and this verse was used. I don’t even have words to express what I feel like now. Thank you Yahweh, thank you.

TODAY’S THANKFUL TALLY

  1. The Sun of Righteousness (I haven’t even finished the book, I was so struck by this).
  2. Yahweh’s impeccable timing. There are so many times (less now thankfully) where he reined me in so that it would be on his time, not mine.
  3. Recalibration
  4. Jeremiah 31-39
