Arrrrrhhhhhhh!!!
Terrified excitement! It’s one o’clock and the site is live – imperfectly perfectly me. The food is cooked. Decided to just have a small thanksgiving. Somehow it has turned into something else. This morning mom asked if we can invite the neighbours instead of carrying the food for them. I was like, Okay – so the neighbors are coming also.

- Fried carrot rice
- Macaroni pie
- Black eyed peas (Where is the Love?)
- Potato salad
- Sorrel BBQ chicken wings
- Tamarind BBQ Fish
- Salad
- Juice
- Cake
- Sweetbread

Funny story with the black eyed peas. I didn’t like black eyed peas. But when deciding on the menu, I did not want red beans, black beans, lentils and channa would not mesh with the menu. Then I remembered black eyed peas. Some weeks ago mom had cooked black eyed peas and for the first time in my life, I liked it! See there is a way to cook it and have it taste good. She said a woman from church told her how to cook it to get an awesome taste. Funny thing too? When Steph heard the menu she was like: I don’t like black eyed peas. Who knows? There may be another convert soon!
Sigh. Thank you. For bringing me here. I don’t even think I have the mental fortitude to check the site today. But Yahweh thank you. Thank you for coming into my life. Well…you know what I mean. I’m smiling at our future.
