Still Slaying Giants – Jubilee Worship
Yahweh, you are still strong. You are still mighty. You are the one in control. Whatever happens is according to your will. I know that you are able. And it’s not a matter of resignation but of realising that sometimes disappointments happen and what looked like an open door is actually closed.
Yahweh, you make ways out of no way. You move mountains. This world is yours. My world is you and I will always live in expectation of you moving, but if you don’t, I will rejoice in that also. Because you know what is best. Thank you for your love. You grace, your will and yes the desires you’ve placed are still there, but in your appointed time.
Okay, I am frustrated. I’ll admit that. Somehow our department has to be mitigating/mediating family members who are fighting and I have to be calling people. Why can’t you call your own grandson? And then on top of that, the whole bank account fiasco that after five hours they said, “Ohhh, my bad, it’s because of the country I’m in.” Sigh.
Isaiah 43:2 – When you go through the sea, I am with you.
When you go through rivers, they will not sweep you away.
When you walk through fire, you will not be burned,
and the flames will not harm you.
You know I just have to laugh because like this bank account thing is definitely not for me. Someone else whose card was used for someone else’s account and their account it went through. But on mine, it was declined. Another card was declined. Yahweh, it is in your hands. Thank you for your grace.
