It’s a brand new day.
You are in every day.
You are good.
I am loved.
You are amazing.
I am saved.
You are worthy to be praised.
I am thankful.
You are God (was about to say all by yourself but remembered you’re not).
I am yours.
You have overcome the world.
I am an overcomer in you.
You are our Redeemer.
You are love.
You are the one who is in control.
You are King.
You are strong and mighty.
You are peace that passeth all understanding.
You are the source of my faith.
You are the end goal of my faith.
You are the source of my hope.
Yahweh, thank you for who you are. You are beyond my imagination and I praise you for every single thing you’ve done. I give you the glory for who you are. You are lifted high. You are honoured. You are God.
Thank you for today. For being here in this day. For your spirit that is working in us.
Yahweh, I need you for life. I need you for strength. Thank you for your grace. I often have to remember that we don’t have to “ask” for grace, we have to “accept” your grace. It is freely given. But you paid a price for it so we should not take it for granted.
Thank you for the miraculous ways that you move. Sometimes reading others’ stories/testimonies are both encouraging and incredulous. I know that you move in miraculous ways. And as I rejoice for others, I sometimes want to peek ahead and wonder how you will move for me. But I am thankful that however you move, big or small, that you are moving. You are setting things up according to your will. That even though it’s painful now or next year, your plans are good. You are good and you want what is best for us both now and in eternity. For your plans. For being the source of everything.
Hebrews 12:2 – We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Romans 15:13 – 3 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Some may say it’s coincidence, I don’t. Literally just wrote the scripture about you enduring the cross and now reading a devotional about the same thing.
I will rejoice in every season, but its still encouraging that you endured the cross. It wasn’t fun or all rainbows and ponies, but you knew your goal and knew that in order to achieve the goal, you had to go through the cross. Thank you for enduring for our sake. Thank you for saving us.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17 – That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
8:00 am : actually getting out of bed to continue the day
I needed to rest. I’ve been on go mode for so long that I was even too tired to sleep. So this week I did my best to go to bed early. And today I took a personal day. I had people calling for appointments and I said no. I intend to take my Mom’s vehicle to the straightener. Get some cloth. Pray. Maybe go to the beach. Pray. Relax. Sew. Pray. and rest.
Do not want to destroy the body and mind that Yahweh gave me by working to death. Thank you for the time. For today. For your strength. By your grace I will make it.
