Singing
I’m so in love with you.
You’re beautiful. So beautiful.
I fix my eyes on you.
You’re beautiful. So beautiful.

Good Morning Yahweh. There are so many songs to you that when we truly look at the words, they read as a love song. And they all truly are love songs to you, though someone reading the words may want to think that it’s a song to someone’s wife or something. But it truly highlights the intimacy of relationship that you desire from us, with us.
You. Everything that you are to us is of a close nature. There is nothing in your character that signals distance or your desire for distance. Thank you for waiting to be close to us. Thank you for being a friend, father, helper, mentor, Saviour, healer. Thank you for being all that we need but still providing us with more than you. Thank you for being most beautiful. Thank you for being my God. Thank you for your love. Thank you for seeing me.

Forever and Amen – Cody Carnes, Kari Jobe

Yahweh, you listen to us. Thank you. Thank you for your protection. Your love. Thank you for protecting Clint. It’s hard for him right now. So much is happening in his life right now that seem contrary. Strengthen him in you. Cleanse him and may his thoughts be of you. Heal him Yahweh. Restore him to you. I pray that his life is one that is to you. I don’t even know what to think of what is happening to him, but I pray that in all things he will keep his eyes fixed on you. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Luke 5:2-3 – Jesus saw two boats on the shore. The fishermen had stepped out of them and were washing their nets. So Jesus got into the boat that belonged to Simon and asked him to push off a little from the shore. Then Jesus sat down and taught the crowd from the boat.

I’ve read this scripture many times. But today something stood out to me.
Preparation.
It may appear that Simon just jumped into the boat and pushed out. But I realised that he was prepared. He made preparations first. He was a fisherman. When Jesus first came to his boat, he was outside the boat washing the nets. But yet they were able to cast down their nets when Jesus asked them to.
This means one thing to me. They took the time to prepare. They didn’t leave their tools behind. So often Yahweh sends us to do something and it’s “easy” to run out and do it. But they still prepared. Even though what they were going to do required little of them. They still prepared.
Yahweh. Help me to fix my eyes on you. Help me not to be distracted by the choices others make. Help me to use the gifts you have given me wisely and for your glory.
I am trying not to be disturbed by others. To not look critically at others. Keep me in your will. Thank you for your grace and love. Help me to walk in your will. Thank you for who you are. I love you.
