Good Morning Yahweh. Thank you for this new day. Thank you for making all things new. Thank you for your love and grace towards us. Yahweh.

Lord, please show me everyday as you;re teaching me your way.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 – It is beautiful how God has done everything at the right time. He has put a sense of eternity in people’s minds. Yet, mortals still can’t grasp what God is doing from the beginning to the end of time.
It is true. I do not understand how you operate. I do not understand the choices you make. They are beyond me. But this I do know: you give beauty for ashes, actually a crown of beauty for ashes. For the sorrows we go through, when you restore, you restore. Oil of joy instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
So I will praise you.

You’ve got the whole world in your hands
Psalm 24:1 – The earth and everything it contains are the Lord’s. The world and all who live in it are his.
The whole world is yours. Including me. All that I am. I don’t own anything in this world because it is all yours. The cattle upon a thousand hills. The breath that I take. If you don’t give it, I can’t breathe. Yahweh, you are my God and though you created me because you loved me, I will worship you because you created you and love me. You are everything to me. You are everything to me. Nothing this world has to offer can compare to who you are. I love you. Thank you for loving me with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). Thank you for choosing me and for your direction in my life. You are God and I give you the honour and the praise. Whatever happens in my life, you are in control. Whatever I see, you made it and fashioned it for a purpose. Thank you Yahweh for you: all of you. Thank you for loving me. I love you.
I’m gonna recount all the times that you came through:
- I was kicked out of the university because I could not afford the tuition. And you provided someone to pay the tuition before the final deadline.
- Application to Grad School was late and was still accepted.
- At home in Tobago, no employment in sight. Being told that I was overqualified, to community -oriented (like what?). I was even turned away from volunteer positions. I received a call from someone in a position to hire me but almost a month heard nothing back. I had the prompting (thank you Holy Spirit) to take a thank you card to them for at least trying. When I got there, gave them the card and said thank you. Spoke with them for a while then left. Five minutes after I left, I got a call from one of the offices the person was responsible for to come and collect my letter of appointment to start on Monday. It was Friday. Turns out that I was approved to work two weeks before but someone was blocking it. If I hadn;t decided to express gratitude, I would have been waiting even longer.
- Needed to replace the engine on my vehicle. It was bad. Gratuity came at that time.
- Had a really bad cold. On the tail end of recovery I felt so dehydrated that I decided to go to the hospital. Turned out I have developed rhabdomyolysis due to the excessive coughing that damaged my muscles. Once again Holy Spirit urged me to go to the hospital (since I usually avoid them). If I hadn’t, there would have potentially been kidney failure, seizures, blood clots and so many other permanent issues. Instead I was hospitalised for five days for treatment that prevented long term damage.
- Provision through car rental when funds were none existent. The difference now is that no bills are paid this month. None. There are so many definite deadlines this month.
- Provision last month when Angie brought the $100 and then when one of the bank errors were reversed.
Yahweh, I don’t know how you will come through, but I am trusting you to work things out. You are God. You alone are God and nothing is too hard for you. In fact, impossible to man is easy to you. Thank you for your promise. Thank you for who you are. Thank you for the three of you, who all work together to save us and restore us. I will lift my eyes to the hills from where my help comes because you are my help. You are my strong tower, my refuge in times of trouble. My resting place in times of peace. You surround me with songs of salvation. You are Jehovah. You are my King. You are in control. Thank you Yahweh for who you are. I love you.
