Yahweh, Help me to remain in you. To cast out all fear except the fear of you. This is the second sermon in as many days that’s speaking about baggage. Yahweh, help me to cast off what is not of you. but to also enjoy the season that I’m in and to enjoy the fulfilled promises. Deep down, there’s a part of me that is harbouring fear that things may not work out or that it would last only for a while. but I also know those thoughts are not of you. I pray for the grace to truly rest in you. Not fear. Faith. Trust. You. Your word. Amen.
Nehemiah 8:10 – Then he told them, “Go, eat rich foods, drink sweet drinks, and send portions to those who cannot provide for themselves. Today is a holy day for the Lord. Don’t be sad because the joy you have in the Lord is your strength.”
Yahweh, This is a thought that keeps coming to me: find my joy in you. Even in the good season. Find my joy in you. Don’t worry about potential (insert whatever), find my joy in you.
