Before I continue recording the promises that Yahweh gave me, a brief interruption. My mother just said she has never forgotten grocery at the store. I was recollecting a time I went to purchase two small items and walked out the store because I was distracted by the questions that made no sense by someone who had called me. I was like, okay. And then I remembered that someone walked out a store and left a whole bale of toilet paper in the store. Drops mic.
Walks away.
We all had to crack up at that one.
Promises of Yahweh to Me
1 Peter 1:6-7 – You are extremely happy about these things, even though you have to suffer different kinds of trouble for a little while now. 7 The purpose of these troubles is to test your faith as fire tests how genuine gold is. Your faith is more precious than gold, and by passing the test, it gives praise, glory, and honor to God. This will happen when Jesus Christ appears again.
It’s so easy to forget the testing part of our faith. But we will be tested.
Isaiah 45:3 – I will give you treasures from dark places and hidden stockpiles. Then you will know that I, the Lord God of Israel, have called you by name.
–
Isaiah 45:8 – Rain down from above, you heavens, and pour down righteousness, you skies. Let the earth open. Let salvation and righteousness sprout. Let them spring up. I, the Lord, have created them.
–
Isaiah 55
Yahweh you are so good. You are so good to me. Thank you for who you are. Thank you for your promises. Thank you for the way that you show your love. Thank you for speaking. I pray that your glory will be shown. Because you deserve all the glory and the honour. You are almighty and righteous and glorious. Thank you for Angie. For using her as your messenger. For claiming her as yours. Thank you for your revelation.
What just happened?
Just as I started writing these promises again, Angie sent me a link and a voice note. I didn’t stop and listen at the moment, but then after a while, the Spirit said listen. So I listened. The video quoted Isaiah 60 about the promised restoration. The glory of the Lord has dawned (verse 1). The camels will come with gold and incense (verse 6). Foreigners will rebuild your walls (verse 10) and though you were abandoned and hated, I will make you a source of everlasting pride, a joy for all nations (verse 15).
I saw the parallels in the scriptures of what I had just written and I sent voice notes to Angie reading them out. Then I remembered how yesterday I prayed for my slipper to last like the way the Israelites did while they were in the desert. And then I got out of my car and my slippers broke. I did not realise the significance until now. Their sandals did not wear out until they reached the promised land. My slipper broke yesterday after praying for it to last until. Today I visited another church and because ,y phone was disconnected, I decided to check if the church had an open wifi for guests. They did. But there was also a wifi there labelled, “The Promised Lan” and as I sat there, I just had to praise Yahweh for his promises, for his goodness and his revelations. It just took one message for the revelation of what he was saying to come. And I am grateful and thankful for the dawning of the glory of God.
Thank you Yahweh for who you are. For your word, for the perfection of your word. I love you.
Revelation 19:1 – Maverick City
Isaiah 55:10-13 –
“Rain and snow come down from the sky.
They do not go back again until they water the earth.
They make it sprout and grow
so that it produces seed for farmers
and food for people to eat.
11 My word, which comes from my mouth, is like the rain and snow.
It will not come back to me without results.
It will accomplish whatever I want
and achieve whatever I send it to do.”
12 You will go out with joy and be led out in peace.
The mountains and the hills
will break into songs of joy in your presence,
and all the trees will clap their hands.
13 Cypress trees will grow where thornbushes grew.
Myrtle trees will grow where briars grew.
This will be a reminder of the Lord’s name
and an everlasting sign that will never be destroyed.
–
Habakkuk 1:5 – Look among the nations and watch. Be amazed and astonished. I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe even if it were reported to you.
–
2 Peter 3:9 – The Lord isn’t slow to do what he promised, as some people think. Rather, he is patient for your sake. He doesn’t want to destroy anyone but wants all people to have an opportunity to turn to him and change the way they think and act.
–
Psalm 80:19 – O Lord God, commander of armies, restore us, and smile on us so that we may be saved.
–
Psalm 33:16-22 –
No king achieves a victory with a large army.
No warrior rescues himself by his own great strength.
17 Horses are not a guarantee for victory.
Their great strength cannot help someone escape.
18 The Lord’s eyes are on those who fear him,
on those who wait with hope for his mercy
19 to rescue their souls from death
and keep them alive during a famine.
20 We wait for the Lord.
He is our help and our shield.
21 In him our hearts find joy.
In his holy name we trust.
22 Let your mercy rest on us, O Lord,
since we wait with hope for you.
–
Psalm 27:13 – I believe that I will see the goodness of the Lord in this world of the living.
–
John 10:10 – A thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But I came so that my sheep will have life and so that they will have everything they need.
–
Isaiah 54:10 – The mountains may move, and the hills may shake, but my kindness will never depart from you. My promise of peace will never change,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
–
Psalm 32:7 – You are my hiding place. You protect me from trouble. You surround me with joyous songs of salvation. Selah
–
2 Corinthians 4:16 – That is why we are not discouraged. Though outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are renewed day by day.
–
Philippians 1:6 – I’m convinced that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it through to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
–
Jeremiah 30:17 – I’ll restore your health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord. “People call you an outcast: Zion, no one cares for you.
(Yes, this ends weird, but it’s Yahweh restoring)
–
Psalm 30:4-7 –
Make music to praise the Lord, you faithful people who belong to him.
Remember his holiness by giving thanks.
5 His anger lasts only a moment.
His favor lasts a lifetime.
Weeping may last for the night,
but there is a song of joy in the morning.
6 When all was well with me, I said,
“I will never be shaken.”
7 O Lord, by your favor you have made my mountain stand firm.
When you hid your face, I was terrified.
