Today, I am determined to praise you even though I don’t see the rain. Truth, I praise you everyday because you are worthy of it all. But as I was working and listening to a sermon, I just had to nod my head in agreement. The pastor was speaking about being in a situation where you know the answer is coming, but you’re not seeing it. He used Elijah as on Mt. Carmel as an example. The amazing thing with this story (for me), two minutes before Yahweh answered Elijah’s prayer almost before he finished praying and sent the fire. But seven times his servant went back before the rains came.
And I just had a revelation moment. You told me I would be going through the fire and halfway through the month (which has never happened before), you said you will send the rain. And honestly I’ve been waiting for the rain and wondering why it hasn’t come as yet. Each time I keep praying and praising and hoping. But not seeing the rain, though I am hearing your movements. But as I’m thinking, you promised rain, but they had to wait for it. Seven times he went back before the small cloud came. Seven times he prayed. And then you answered. Thank you for answered prayers. Thank you for your promised rain. I will keep my eyes fixed on you. I will trust you, you are the God of both the fire and the water. Thank you.
