It’s a brand new day! Thank you for this day that you have made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Thank you for waking me up, for health and strength. I’m looking forward to tomorrow night where I can rest, like rest, rest. But I am thankful for today. This week is flying!! Yahweh, thankyou for who you are. For being merciful and kind and just. You are just (lol…kinda added “not fair but just”), because I think fair is equated with everything being treated the same way, but you don’t treat everyone the same way. You look at us personally and we get what is needed. I love that you are personal. I’m reminded of this movie that I watched recently where they said that everyone gets the dream that they need. And the dream helps them deal with their issues in the waking world. I think they stole (borrowed) the idea from you.
Because that’s what you do. Thank you for being a personal God. For being exactly what I need and Mom needs and everyone else needs. Thank you for drawing close to us and helping us to become who you need us to be. To become who you truly desire. Thank you for your love and your grace and your justness.
Weird question, but I know you experience emotions, do you have a personality? And I know it’s a weird question. But as people, there are introverts, extroverts, loud talkers, reserved people. And we are made in your image. So does that include all of that? Or are you all of these? And Imma be quiet now. Because however you are, I’m glad that you are and that you move in a way that is personal to me – to all of us.
Thank you for being good.
Thank you for being great.
Thank you for your unconditional love.
Thank you for your power to transform.
Thank you for your refining fire (truthfully can’t say it was an awesome feeling, but it truly does help shape me).
Thank you for your promises.
Thank you for revealing your glory.
Thank you for the time with you (and I definitely don’t mean that this is stopping).
Thank you for restoration in all its forms.
Thank you for being unshakeable.
Thank you for singing and encouraging me to sing.
Thank you for your word. Your written word. Your spoken word. Your word over my life.
Thank you.
I love you.
Thank you for loving me. I remember a story that someone told. They were a bit upset that when they first told their girlfriend that they loved her, that her response was “thank you.” They were expecting an “I love you too.”
But looking at that story now, I think it’s a good response. Why? Because it’s a great gift to be loved by someone. That someone would choose to love. And the response when you get a gift is usually, “Thank you.”
It is an honour to be loved by you. It’s an honour that you desire to know me and I am beyond grateful for the gift. Thank you and I love you too!
