You know what I am still amazed at? What we have been taught as Christians. We have been taught that we have to always be “happy.” We must not complain. Never show a face that things are not okay.
BUT!!
When we read the scriptures we see people sharing their emotions. You see people of God crying out in anguish. We see people in seasons of despair. And God called them his friends. He called them men and women after his own heart.
Scripture shows those who had doubts, but yet God called them good. Men and women of faith. So why do we teach that we can’t share our anguish? What we need to remember is that even in our doubts we are still his children. He still loves us. He still has great plans for us. Because even in our doubt, Even in our anguish, he is still God.
