Good Morning again Yahweh. I could not even see straight to write this morning our usual time. Thank you for waking me up (twice). Thank you for a new day. Yahweh, today as the church is in the field and in the community, I pray that your spirit will shine. That your love will show. Not just for those not of you, but to those who believe in you. Help us to love one another as you love us.
John 13:34 – And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
Colossians 3:13 – Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you.
Help me to forgive. I’m saddened, disappointed by the way our people were treated yesterday. I’m tempted to say something and honestly I don’t know if it’s a temptation in truth or a whisper to do so. Show me what I ought to do. I pray for your spirit to live in me and the youths AND the church. I pray for your surrounding grace. Your love to shine through us to others so that their hearts are turned to you. Teach us Yahweh, to truly live for you. I love you. Amen.
So I was typing up “Forsaken” from the journal. And in my fear of possible fall out, there was the possibility of losing my job. But thank you Yahweh, I haven’t. Was able to get the last funds for the retreat. Mom actually purchased the dog food. And though there was a fall (yes, I can admit that), it wasn’t a fall flat on my face, And you have promised that you will pick me up. Thank you for your promises.
