It’s so nice to have discussions with like-minded people. I had to drop off some documents and ended up in discussions about the development of the town. Land issues. Sigh. I miss that.
I’m taking ten moments – parking up facing the sea to have lunch. Thank you Yahweh for your grace and provision (literal provision today). I know that whatever happens or doesn’t happen it’s according to your will. Thank you for your peace.
There’s something I’ve noticed. In the gym’s parking lot people will prefer to squeeze between the railing in front of the cars rather than walk around the cars. And funny enough (well not funny at all), the railing has an eight foot drop next to it. Me? I prefer to walk around.
Missed Connection
Hmmmmm. Last week I saw a call coming in but it only rang for a second and then cut off, so I thought it was an accidental call and didn’t call back. Today they called again and asked me why I rejected their call last week. Sigh. The truth is, we really all have different perspectives. Almost every time I get a call like that when I call back it was an accident. LOL. This time this person thought I had rejected their call and I hadn’t. Then they asked about my love life, so I asked, “Why you asking?”
They said, “Because I want you to find love.” I told them I’m waiting. They laughed, are you really waiting? Or you just don’t want to bother to look? I said I was told to wait. They did not believe me and asked, “Like did you actually hear Jesus tell it to wait?” I said, “Yes, I did.” I think at that point they really paused and listened to what I was saying. They started asking questions. I did say that all is not for me to answer but I am waiting on Yahweh. The best part was that after that I realised that I wasn’t defensive the way I usually was about being single. I wasn’t anxious to explain exactly what happened, none of that. But I realised that I understood the timing that Yahweh had in place and why. And that right now I am to be preparing, I am to be resting. Though I realised that even in this there are different aspects. You may be called to prepare in one aspect of your life and in another the seed is sprouting and in another aspect a tree is blooming. Yahweh works in levels, thinks in levels and we grow along those levels.
