Yahweh, I need help. Like help, help. What do I do when I see the duplicity in our leaders? I am so lost right now. On one hand telling a member that they are divorcing all church people this year and then ten minutes later preaching unity from the pulpit. I am struggling and then a message is sent to me saying that they pray I become one of God’s favourable Kingdom child in 2023. Like what? Trying to say that I wasn’t before or am I reading too much into the message? I truly don’t know what to do and say anymore. Shameface. My response was a little petty: that I pray the same for them. Sigh. Not the nicest response. I’m sorry.
Yahweh, I pray that in all things to see you. To move the way you would. I pray that our leaders are honest in their dealings. That their yes means yes and their no’s mean no. Thank you for being consistent. Amen.
It’s not just me. I asked for an opinion on the message. And Steph also felt that it was in poor taste. Maybe they did not think it through.
