Journaling has truly helped me to channel my thoughts and not have them roaming all over the place. When I decided to journal for a year, I had no clue that you’re going to call me on this type of journey. Journal/Journey. Lol. But I am thankful. It is a bit (a lot) interesting looking back at my thoughts and plenty of times seeing the way you’ve worked through things and the way I’ve worked through things.Â

Soooooo. I think I know we all know that tech is not my jam. I like the bells and whistles, but coding and things like that? Not my cup of tea. Now the site is three weeks from going live. There’s still things I’m trying to figure out that I know most folks would have sorted out in a jiffy. The funny thing with me is that I’m a visual person who doesn’t learn very well using videos. Give me text any day. I realised though one of my frustrations was watching the hour long videos to learn to do these things. Would be so much easier for me to read with screenshots.Â
But the weirdest issue was with the footer. You would not believe it, but black is my favourite colour, but it wasn’t my thoughts for the site. I went more with the “girly” side of me – pink, blue, purple. And the black footer just killed the vibe. Just killed it. I used codes listed online to change the footer colour and none of them worked. Eventually I messaged the developer of the theme. I did not know if they would respond since it wasn’t the pro version. But they did! Happy dance!! They sent the code to use (which honestly looked almost exactly what I had tried before) and it worked! The black footer is gone! Now I just need to streamline the embedded subscribe form. Got the pop-up. It looks pretty and yes I like pretty. But the embedded not embedding and it looks blocky. So hoping to figure that out in the next couple of weeks.Â
And! I go on vacation next week! Whooohoooo!! Only for one week, but I need to rest. Would be posting also during this time so yayyyyyy!Â
There is a total lunar eclipse tonight. I want to see it, but I also want to sleep. I may decide to sleep and then wake up. I think I’ll do that.
