Ever start listening to a sermon while doing something else and realise that you have to stop it so that you can listen better later? This was me today. Going to listen now. May even take notes.
Did God Really Say?
One thing that I am learning is that even with confirmation, there’s always room to doubt a promise until it is fulfilled. That’s why faith is needed. That’s why Yahweh asks us to believe. It fills in the gap between doubts and fulfillment. Believe and move in the direction in which he is pointing you to.
Hold My Hand
I just read a devotional. Unexpectedly. “Hold my hand – and trust.” I’m gonna hold your hand. Especially since you reminded me again. A song came to my mind. It’s an old song and I went searching for it. All I remembered was one line and how it was sung, “Hold to God’s unchanging hand,” and every option that came up I knew it wasn’t that and kept searching. And then I saw it. Before even listening to it I knew it was the song.
“Hold to God’s Unchanging Hands” by James Hall + Worship and Praise.
Surprisingly as I listened, the rest of the song came back to me and I was able to sing along. The musicality (if that’s even a word) in this song is unsurpassed.
