The story of Elijah. He was told to stop the rains and then to go to the brook of Cherith until. And the brook dried up while there. Elijah did what Yahweh asked and had to watch as the brook dried up. Resources became less and less. The Bible does not say how long he had to wait for instructions to move, but he had to wait. Honestly feels like I’m in such a season. It’s the most humbling experience having to ask the parents for gas money and I’m working. It’s disconcerting falling behind with bills and I’m working. But despite of all that, it is comforting to know that in doing what Yahweh asked, things can seemingly get worse and and not be sure of when it would get better, but because he is in control, it will work out. Yahweh, it is in your control.
