This morning we visited briefly the home of a former pastor and I wanted to cry when I saw where he was living. He had no electricity and no bathroom at his home. I know he’s not perfect, but I remember this man taking out loans to send both his children to university and it’s heartbreaking that after sacrificing so much for others, the situation that he is in. Yahweh, this is my genuine prayer, that I truly learn how to steward and grow what you have given me. We can’t all be poor. We need to be able to help each other out. Yahweh, show me what I can do to help the situation. So many times I dream of just coming in and fixing someone’s home (probably why I love these home makeover shows) and I pray that something can be done soon for him. This is my prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen.
