time with Yahweh during the day

I’m hungry and don’t know what I want. But I also don’t want to cook anything else. Making dinner but that’s dinner. Ended up making a smoothie, but it’s definitely NOT hitting the spot, but gonna eat it because it’s food. And I don’t want to waste.

Still taking precautions after the weirdness of yesterday. Told Vie, I was having onion and garlic tea. I could see the face through the phone though it wasn’t a video call. Lol. But I tend to gravitate towards natural medicine vs chemical. Not saying that chemical doesn’t work or doesn’t have its place, but prefer natural. And I just remembered part of a scripture (cause you know how my brain works), “Herbs are for the healing of the nation.” So of course I went searching for it.

Revelation 22:2 – Between the street of the city and the river there was a tree of life visible from both sides. It produced 12 kinds of fruit. Each month had its own fruit. The leaves of the tree will heal the nations

Ezekiel 47:12 – All kinds of fruit trees will grow on both sides of the river. Their leaves won’t wither, and they won’t fail to produce fruit. Each month they will produce fresh fruit because this water flows from the holy place. The fruit will be good food, and the leaves will be used for healing.”

So the first observation is that the scriptures refer to heaven. The Tree of Life. We do know that herbs can help with healing and I remember the first time I used onion and garlic tea, it was recommended by a doctor for a cold/flu/whatever it was about four years ago. Within two minutes of drinking the tea, the coughing stopped. I was shocked. So I know natural medicines do work.

What I find intriguing about these texts? The Tree of Life is in heaven. Why would we still need healing there? And I’m reminded of the choice that Adam and Eve had to make daily in Eden. (February 14, morning).

Revelation 21:4 – He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There won’t be any more death. There won’t be any grief, crying, or pain, because the first things have disappeared.”

He will wipe every tear. There won’t be any more death, as we eat from the tree of life. Now I have no problems being corrected about this, I’m not a Bible scholar, but I think heaven may be very different from what we have imagined it to be. I’m intrigued more now.
