You did it again. You seriously did it again. This morning my mind was casting about to find the “love” word for today. When I stopped trying to control the direction, the word “know” came into my spirit. About you knowing us and us knowing you. And today, the first sermon on the newsfeed as I sat on to listen (and eat) the pastor in the first 2 minutes(!) said that above all, you desire to be known. I love that you give me glimpses of you working. Thank you.
I have to also remember to listen to my thoughts. This morning I kept trying to push away thoughts of Jeffers, but it wasn’t until I let it out and addressed it that the moment passed. I need to remember because I don’t want to go back to the way I used to be. Annnnddd!! Finally! A project to support small business owners in my community is finally on the way! Finally! I went to the site this morning, it was so exciting to see the men at work . Happy dance. We should be able to accommodate at least 6 businesses plus parking in the area. Double happy dance.
I finally made the polish cake! Whooohooo! It is good, it kind of has no choice. It’s basically puff pastry with a custard cream filling. Definitely nice.
How do I access the wisdom of Yahweh?(Sermon)
No one knows the mind of God other than the spirit.
SIDEBAR: Sometime previously I had said that we can’t be filled with the Holy Spirit all the time, but we must have a continuous connection. Recognizing that the Holy Spirit (wisdom) is a conduit to God’s mind, it reinforces my earlier thought. If we can’t stand in his presence, how would we be able to compute his mind? I don’t think even John, though filled with the Holy Spirit, would have had full access.
- Hunger for wisdom as if it was silver or gold. Psalm 8:10.
- Humility (ask of God) James 1:5.
- Faith (ask in faith). James 1: 6,7.
- Demonstration (action) James 1:22
