I am not a big fancy seamstress, but I can work a straight stitch. I was taking in everything from underwear to leggings cause everything is so baggy and it has reached the stage where it no longer looked cute. So since I’m not purchasing any clothes as yet, I decided to further stitch in what I have. Some was actually taken in about two months ago, so this is awesome progress. The downside is that I’m not sure how much more I can keep taking in, but!! Until I’m able to partake of the blessings of the promised land, I will rock what I have.
And journal! Also doing fabric covered journals!! Can you tell that I am excited? Those are going to be pre-made, I’m thinking to start with African prints or other statement prints, lined pages. Should be fun.
Confession: Sometimes I feel guilty if I’m not studiously reading the Bible or working on a project. I do enjoy these things, they are absolutely for the glory of Yahweh, but I think I now need to find a balance between recreation and study.
