Ezekiel 34
Yahweh has called the shepherds for a mighty task, but they don’t do the right thing. They don’t guide. They don’t teach. They don’t help the sheep – those under their care. Instead they take their money, their food, their everything and leave them desolate. Sad thing is – too many church leaders, pastors do the same thing now. They’re flying first class everywhere, but the church members surviving on ramen. More time is spent tearing down instead of lifting up or worse yet, just saying what they want to hear and not what they need to hear. But when Yahweh steps in, Hallelujah!!
Ezekiel 36:25 – I will sprinkle clean water on you and make you clean instead of unclean. Then I will cleanse you from all your idols.
Huh. Is this where the sprinkling baptism came from? Though it should be noted that there are mentions of baptisms (in water)
