Nehemiah 8:10 – Then he told them, “Go, eat rich foods, drink sweet drinks, and send portions to those who cannot provide for themselves. Today is a holy day for the Lord. Don’t be sad because the joy you have in the Lord is your strength.”
All morning as I was in the kitchen, this scripture kept going through my thoughts. I kept singing the song also (The Joy of the Lord – Maverick City) and the thought was, Yahweh has me here for a reason. I may not understand most of it and what I do understand it’s only in part, but I am here for a reason. And I need to centre my focus on Jesus, because he is my strength.
This is the part that I love about you. You know my thoughts and though I wasn’t despondent, you sent a reminder: that you are my joy. Seriously the God of Tech. I am thankful for who you are and even though outwardly I’m wasting away (yayyyy weight loss), inwardly my spirit is being renewed.
2 Corinthians 4:16 – That is why we are not discouraged. Though outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are renewed day by day.
By all visual observation, I don’t have what I need. I don’t seem like I’m prospering, but I am renewed everyday and my joy is in the Lord. Thank you Yahweh for being here with me. For renewing my mind in you.
