I was asked to write a poem. I don’t even know where to start and it’s for next week. It’s been almost five years since I’ve written a poem for public consumption and I need inspiration.
Today was nice. We had some folks over for dinner. You know what I genuinely enjoy? Discussing your Word. Hearing personal perspectives and then agreeing or agreeing to disagree. Thank you for that opportunity. Yahweh I pray that you will bless Darian and Danicia. Provide for them. They are young. Wow. She’s twenty-two. But they are also yours and with you in the midst, they can grow closer. I pray that the life they live would be genuine. Not of outside pretence and something else behind closed doors. I pray that Darian will be the priest of the home with you as the high priest. Wrap them and keep them close to you.
Yahweh, I pray also for Keren. She is talented. Hands down. I pray that her gifts are dedicated to you. I pray that in relationships she would make your choices and not human choices. Keep her, draw her to you so that she chooses to follow you completely. Thank you for all that you have accomplished today. Thank you for your grace and your love. You are truly an awesome God and I love you. Yahweh, don’t let go of me please.
