I think deep down most people desire peace. I was reading a book (well a trilogy) and towards the middle of the last book, I honestly thought to myself, why does this feel almost like the spiritual battle going on around us. And then a character was introduced named Melchesideq. Then the book spoke about perfect love casting out fear.
I don’t know if the author is a Christian or not, but the truth is, most books, movies all have “good” winning. And I think that also scares the devil. Most people desire what is good and so he resorts to trickery, threats to get others to follow him. But you know the assurance that we have? Love will always win.
My Locs
Today I did something I never thought I would do. I opened the ends of my locs. I know people do it to get the curly ends and they are always combing them out. That’s not my intent though. About half of my locs had bunches at the ends due to shed hair while locking. I’ve thought about ways to “fix” that including cutting the ends off. Eventually I had decided I would just accept the bunches, including the big ones and then I watched a video where someone combed out the bunches and retwisted so this time they could loc without the bunching.
I tried it. And ending up combing out all the bunched ends of the locs and retwisting them. The hair feels almost weird without the bunches. I hope this time when they loc, they leave the bunching behind, because I don’t think I want to do this again.
